Our Locations in France

HENSOLDT has fifteen sites in France and three additional branches abroad. This strong presence in France means, that we are able to operate alongside our partners and gives us detailed knowledge of the markets. Besides ten local customer sites (Aubagne, Caudan, Cologne, Dole, La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, Le Barp, Mérignac, Montescot, Nancy & Six-Fours-les-Plages), we work in five major industrial sites in Epreville, La Couronne, Massy, Plaisir (headquarters of HENSOLDT France SAS) and Toulouse (headquarters of HENSOLDT Nexeya France).

HENSOLDT in France

Plaisir

We established our first location in France with our site in Plaisir. The HENSOLDT France SAS headquarters are located to the west of Paris in Plaisir, an industrial and commercial zone. It is at the heart of Paris’s defence and aeronautic activities, with companies such as Thales, Zodiac and Airbus close by.

The former headquarters of a retail company, our site in Plaisir was built in 2001 with an entrepreneurial and spacious layout covering 2350 sq. m. With open-plan offices, storage areas and communal areas, it has space for 120 employees.

HENSOLDT

Toulouse

Opened in January 2020 in Toulouse, HENSOLDT’s head office is used by almost 200 employees, split between the group’s 3 entities: HENSOLDT, MIDI INGENIERIE and HENSOLDT SPACE CONSULTING.

The site develops critical electronic systems such as embedded equipment and systems; system integration benches; equipment test benches; and control equipment. We also ensure maintenance in operational condition (MCO) for third-party systems and our own.

Massy

The site includes an administrative department, design offices with electronic design, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering, test engineering and systems engineering, as well as workshops and integration rooms. Massy counts nearly 150 employees.

The Massy site is involved in activities including:

Maintenance in operational condition, repairs and refabrication
Power conversion
Test engineering
System manufacturing
Test bench manufacturing

HENSOLDT

La Couronne

The La Couronne site specialises in hydrogen, Lyncea mission systems and trajectography turrets, and employs around 90 people. Its fields of activity are divided into different areas:

Integrating complex systems
Development capacity (soft and hard)
Maintenance in operational condition
Engineering capacity

HENSOLDT

Epreville

The Epreville site specialises in energy conversion, designing and producing battery chargers, electromagnetic protection elements for ships, and power supplies for radars.

The site employs around 40 people and produces solutions in-house as well as working on customer sites.

With a network of sales offices in 19 key accessible defence markets, the HENSOLDT Group is able to strategically serve its growing customer base all over the world. We have structured our international presences according to the individual geographical regions in order to provide customer-oriented sales activities.

Our international sales teams are very well acquainted with the individual procurement processes and have comprehensive knowledge of the markets.
