The ASTRE R-1 & C-1 probes enable test operators to measure the resistive and conductive properties of the coatings applied to the composite structures of aircraft.
These tools are used to verify that the coatings comply with the relevant standards throughout the aircraft’s life: when in production, during periodic in-service inspections, and following repair operations to ensure continued compliance with the required specifications.
Portable and ergonomic, ASTRE systems are battery-powered, meaning measurements can be freely taken in any location. Thanks to their simple design, they are easy to use and do not require any special skills or specific installation.
